In his professional life the native Austrian Roland Müksch is a Senior Private Banker, but his passion has always been with wine. He is a wine collector and active in many Hong Kong wine circles. He is a wine writer for leading international wine journals. He serves as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Wine Society and the Deputy Consul General and Chambellan of the Ordre des Côteaux de Champagne Greater China. He holds the ranks of Chevalier of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, Commandeur of the Commanderie de Bordeaux, Infanção of the Port Wine Brotherhood, Cavaliere of the Knights of Alba and Professionnel du Vin with the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. He completed the WSET Diploma and is currently studying for the Master of Wine. He advises and invested in a winery in Southern England and is the owner of the boutique winery, Domäne Roland Chan, in the Wachau, Austria.
